However, at Hula Hula, we believe that our styles would fit great to all genders. All our items are made of cotton and polyester, so they last as long as possible. On Dec. 4th, 2019 Hula Hula will celebrate 13 years of Tiki-Karaoke & Fun! As a Thank You to loyal customers & regulars, the bar will be offering ALL of the cocktails on its Tiki menu, ALL of the beers on tap, & ALL wells for just $5 each until 10pm. The will be an extra hour of karaoke so you can really take advantage of the drink specials. Karaoke at 8pm.
 
Hula Hula opened its doors at the original Queen Anne location on Dec. 7th 2006. That location had to close on March 18th, 2017 due to the building being sold. Barely skipping a karaoke beat, the classic Tiki-Karaoke bar reopened on Capitol Hill on April 18th 2017. Making it one of the rare establishments to dodge Seattle’s all too common the wrecking ball.

Together with Catty and The Imperial Sovereign Court of Seattle and The Olympic and Rainier Empire, we wanted to find a way to say thank you and to support the whole community that has been so good and supporting to all of us. The idea came from Catty - to donate proceeds from karaoke bidding to the Lambert House - an international leader in LGBTQ youth community building. Lambert House educates LGBTQ youth to see themselves as normal, healthy individuals and to respect and take care of themselves and each other. They house a 3,000-volume LGBTQ lending library, and academic internships at the junior high, high school, college, and graduate school levels.

Hula Hula is donating 2h of early karaoke ($350 value) for our Pay to Play fundraiser. Bring cash!!

THE RULES:
Players will be put into a regular karaoke rotation from 7-9pm with songs of their choice. We encouraged challenging other game players to sing a song of the challengers choosing. Once submitted the challenged player will be called to the stage.
The player challenged will not know the song they were challenged to sing. At this point they may choose to pay to sneak a peak at the song before singing, sing the song without peaking or pay to veto/re-challenge another player who has not purchased immunity.

Price Sheet:
$5.00 buy in / $5 buy out
$5.00 to challenge / $0.00 to accept challenge
$10.00 Veto /$15 Re- Challenge/ $5.00 sneak peak at the song.
$50.00 for all night immunity to being challenged
$25.00 for 1 hour immunity to being challenged

Happy #Pride! Regardless of sexual preferences, gender identification, color, we love everyone who preaches #Acceptance #Diversity and #Love. This year’s celebration marks 50 years from Stonewall riots, and it only shows how far have both LGBTQ+ community and humanity as a whole have accomplished!

We’ve welcomed the sunny warm weekend with 12h karaoke marathons both Sat & Sun and met a ton of new friends. Bubbles, smoke, an inflated unicorn and glitter was the name of the game all weekend long.

At Hula Hula we pride ourselves with zero discrimination policy and to honor and strengthen our position we have decided to remove the gender signs from our restrooms. Starting 1st of July our restrooms are non-gender specific. As we would like to be as accommodating as possible to all our friends and visitors, we will keep the one urinal in the former men’s restroom – men do like those a lot.

We hope everyone understands and supports our decision. We have already gotten a lot of positive feedback, both from our #Hulagans and first time visitors! Please feel free to use the contact form if you’d like to share your opinion with us!

What a bunch of #FabulousFakes! The #Hulagan Appreciation Party under this month’s #Full #Moon was a fun and intimate experience for all of us at Hula Hula! All the Hulagans had us wow-ing at their costumes, energy and performances. We are honored you call us your “Favorite Spot”!
We saw Freddie Mercury, Will Smith, Stevie Nicks, Robert Smith, Shirly Ann Manson… And so many more “fake” celebrities, but our hearts were stolen by the one and only (The King!) Elton John and respectively we gave him the Crown – Jim won the Impersonation contest, ‘cuz he was FABULOUS.
We vow to keep striving to be as #TiKi as possible, as #fun as we could get and to turn up the karaoke nights even hotter (regardless of the season).

April's #FullMoon #Party was so full of love, laughs and colorful emotions... We had a blast! Thank you to Catty and all of her beautiful friends - Daddy Issues, Smokey Brown and Kara Sutra for turning the full moon party up!
